Its best-known craft is the Foiler, a sub-10-metre day boat that rises above the water on four retractable hydrofoils. The Foiler is a diesel-electric hybrid rather than a pure-electric boat: diesel generators feed electric drive motors, with only a brief battery-only mode for low-speed manoeuvring.
