Nimbus is a long-established Swedish boatbuilder, founded in 1968 near Gothenburg and now part of the listed Nimbus Group. It builds a broad range of Scandinavian motorboats, from day boats to coupes and cruisers, mostly with conventional combustion engines and using its comfort-oriented Smart Speed hull. Electric propulsion is offered as an option on selected models, such as the 305 Coupe and 305 Drophead E-Power, which are adapted from combustion designs rather than built as ground-up electric boats.
