Spirit Yachts is a British builder based at Ipswich in Suffolk, founded in 1993 and known for modern-classic wooden sail and motor yachts ranging from day sailers to superyachts, built in cold-moulded timber. Its output is predominantly sailing and conventionally powered craft; the electric SpiritBARTech 35EF foiler was a one-off chase-boat commission rather than a series model. Company founder and designer Sean McMillan continues to lead the yard's design work.
