A day boat built around how you'll actually use it

The EZ28 is Crooze Yachts' flagship all-electric day boat, designed around six distinct use scenarios that reconfigure the same 8.67m hull: Commuting, Fishing, Water sports, Party, Picnic, and Beach. Rather than a single fixed layout, the boat is built to be reconfigured for whichever of those the owner needs on a given day.

Power and range

The EZ28 ships with a 207kW motor as standard, with an optional upgrade to 270kW for owners who want more performance, drawing on a 140 kWh battery pack of which 130 kWh is usable. Crooze Yachts publishes a full range curve rather than a single figure: roughly 120 nautical miles at 5 knots, around 30 nm at the 12-knot cruise the hull is optimised for, and 15–16 nm at the 30-knot top speed — the honest shape of electric range, stated openly.

Comfort and layout

At 8.67m with capacity for 12 passengers, the EZ28 is fitted with a WC, wet bar and grill, a stern shower, an enlarged beach area, and folding top-sides that open up 17 square metres of usable floor space — features aimed squarely at day-long use rather than short outings.

Where it sits in the market

In its size class, the EZ28 competes with boats like the Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air, ARC Boats' range, Axopar's electric model, and Marian Boats — its combination of six reconfigurable use scenarios and beach-focused layout is its main point of difference from that group.
