Optima Yachts is a British builder based on the Solent, producing the all-electric E10. The E10 is a stabilised monohull with slender outrigger-style side hulls that form drag-reducing tunnels, tuned for efficient displacement-speed cruising rather than planing; it is driven by a single RAD Propulsion motor with twin Kreisel battery packs. In 2023 the E10 became the first electric boat to circumnavigate the Isle of Wight on battery power alone.
